Cave Map Tiles

This product is a downloadable digital art pack delivered as a ZIP file containing image files in JPG, PNG, and WebP formats. It includes a collection of map tiles created from a blend of photographic source material and hand-drawn artwork.

These image files can be used in graphics editing software such as Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, GIMP, and similar applications. The pack is designed to give Players and Game Masters the tools to build custom adventure maps by assembling the tiles piece by piece, then importing the finished maps into digital tabletop role-playing platforms such as Fantasy Grounds, Roll20, FoundryVTT, or d20Pro.

Explore the lair of a dire cave bear or descend underground in search of a troll hoard. The Cave Map Tiles set builds on the success of the original Dungeon Map Tiles, introducing a new collection of gritty underground cave tiles alongside additional wilderness map tiles.

Although this set was originally designed to expand the Dungeon Map Tiles range, the Cave Map Tiles pack is fully usable on its own. For greater variety, we recommend combining both sets so players can move seamlessly between caves and traditional dungeons. The pack includes interlinking tiles that connect cave systems to dungeon complexes, as well as wilderness dirt tiles designed to link smoothly with the wilderness grass tiles from the Dungeon Map Tiles set.

ART ASSETS: Raw Image Files Edition

This edition of the Cave Map Tiles art pack is supplied as a single ZIP file containing all assets in JPG, PNG, and WebP formats, providing maximum flexibility and creative control. It is well suited to experienced creators who work with graphics editing software such as Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, Affinity Photo, or GIMP.

If you prefer map-building applications, the raw image files can also be imported into tools like Dungeon Scrawl, allowing the tiles to slot directly into your existing workflow. Be sure to consult your prefered application’s documentation for instructions about importing custom art assets. To help you get started quickly, we have step-by-step tutorials that explain how to assemble adventure maps with Studio WyldFurr’s Map Tiles using popular graphics programs.
