Map PinWhat is a Map Pin?

Have you ever examined a map and found a number of pins punched into the map in order to highlight places of interest? That is the aim of the Map Pins range of mini-adventure sites from Studio Wyldfurr. Each map pin is a small feature site that you can drop into your adventure game. The pin comes bundled with maps depicting the site, plus background notes that describe the site and it’s inhabitants.

Each Map Pin is not a stand alone adventure, but rather a resource that a Game Master can use when the players explore somewhere you have not prepared for, or if you need a random encounter location. Use a map pin for a small side adventure, or as the lair for a monster, or even a safe house employed by your campaign villain.

Adventure Location Modules

Over the coming months we will be releasing small adventure location modules (also called Map Pins). These adventure modules consist of: A Fantasy Grounds Adventure Module. Which includes all map images, tokens, story entries, NPC & Item data sheets. You will need the Pathfinder 2 RPG – Core Rules installed in order to use each module. Each adventure location is non-specific to the world it is set in, thus enabling the Game Master the ability to drop the location into their campaign with very little effort.

To use these Map Pins you will need access to the Pathfinder Second Edition Core Rule Books. We recommend the Core Rulebook, Gamemastery Guide, and Bestiary. These indispensable books contains the core rules for players and Game Masters, and are the stepping stones to a heroic new journey!
