Compass Points – Miniature Adventure Sites
Compass Points are an initiative from Studio WyldFurr to create a range of ready made side-adventure locations that a Game Master (or Dungeon Master) can drop into their campaign for an interesting little side adventure from the main plot – or as a short term plot point themselves. Thus each Compass Point is not big enough to be a stand alone adventure module by itself, but when added to a campaign the Compass Point helps to fill your adventure world with more than just what is in the core plot.

What does each Compass Point Consist of?
Our Compass Points have been designed primarily to support online virtual desktop role-playing with Apps such as Fantasy Grounds, Battlegrounds, Roll20, d20Pro, etc. Thus each miniature adventure site includes story and background detail about the location itself, along with information about the inhabitants of the location. All of this background information is written to support the d20 SRD 3.5 edition of good old Dungeons & Dragons (but this could easily be switched over to Pathfinder).
This story information is rounded out with map artwork and tokens designed for the VTT tabletop. All of our maps have a photo realistic look and feel to them, plus the maps and 3D rendered tokens are crafted to meet a 3:1 pixel screen scale (3 screen pixels to each real world inch). This enables you the ability to mix and match other Tokens and Maps from Studio WyldFurr together.
We provide each Compass Point in two editions, the first is a generic edition of the mini-adventure site that can be used to add the exploration location to an existing campaign run in a VTT App we do not support. This edition of the module includes all of the image maps, token PGN files, and an extensive Guide PDF which includes all of the description, story, and Game Master Narrative elements. The Generic edition of each Compass Point is available from RPGnow.com
We also provide a Fantasy Grounds Edition of each Compass Point that is setup specifically to support the Fantasy Grounds Application. It includes all of the same information as the generic version, but setup as a Fantasy Grounds Module within Fantasy Grounds itself. The Fantasy Grounds edition of each module can only be purchased from FantasyGrounds.com and activated within the applications Module management menu.
