When you support Studio WyldFurr on Patreon you gain access to the Studio Project Library which contains copies of almost every project that has been created at Studio WyldFurr. There are two ways you can download the packages from the Project Library.
- Direct Download – You can download the packs directly from the Project Library posts in the Patreon Media stream. This tutorial covers how to do this. If you use Studio WyldFurr material in platforms such as Fantasy Grounds, Roll20, D20Pro, Photoshop, Gimp, etc. This is the method you will want to use.
- Access within FoundryVTT via the Moulinette Plugin – Supporters of Studio WyldFurr can access their material via the Moulinette plugin module inside the virtual tabletop application FoundryVTT. This is a feature only available to supporters. If you use FoundryVTT, we recommend you read our tutorial about how to use Moulinette.
Hello, I am Tailz the artist and founded of Studio WyldFurr. This tutorial is to show you how you can access your Patreon Rewards. It also shows how I am using Moulinette to distribute my Project Library files. Moulinette is a great means of accessing material inside FoundryVTT, but I also use it as a file distribution method – instead of the old method of sharing a Dropbox link and password each month. Now all you need is your Patreon subscription. If you have any questions, just send me a message on Discord.
Find the Project Library
The first thing you will want to do is find the Project Library Post, this should be easy to do as it has been pinned to the top of the Studio Patreon Media Stream. If you can not find it, you can search for the following terms or tags: Project Library, Reward, Download.
The Post contains a set of links to the main categories of the Project Library, which are themselves posts in the Patreon Media Stream. Those posts are:
Please be aware that you must be a supporter of the Studio on Patreon to view the Project Library posts. If you are not a supporter, you will not be able to view the posts on Patreon.
Browse for a Pack
Once you have found the Project Library post, select the section you want to browse and click on it’s link to view the post for that category, displayed to the left is a screen capture of the World Builder Tools section of the Project Library from the 5th of January 2023.
Each section within the Project Library follows the same format, a short description at the top of the post, followed by lists of pack titles and download options for each pack.
Some packs have multiple download options, such as the Catacombs Map Tiles Pack. Which includes a Raw Art Assets version, a Fantasy Grounds Module version, and a FoundryVTT Module version. All these files can be downloaded, and manually installed for the platform they belong too (we have tutorials that show you how to manually install Fantasy Grounds modules).
When you have found the pack you want to download, and the version you want to download. Click on the link.
Gate Guardian
To protect my material from being downloaded by anyone who happens to have the link URL, I use a feature of Moulinette that provides security for my archives and acts as a Gate Guardian to protect my files from download.
When you click to download a package, you will be shown a Permission Request from Moulinette where it will request to read your Patreon Public Profile and Pledges. This is Moulinette checking to see if you have permission to download the file.
Simply click Allow and your web browser will prompt you for where to save the download file (if it does not, the web browser will automatically download the file to your Downloads folder).
If you deny Moulinette access to read your Patreon Public Profile and Pledges, you will be denied access to the files.
