The Alien Hive Map Tiles package is a collection of ready-made art assets designed to depict a strange extraterrestrial landscape. Create your own science fiction adventure maps for your players to explore during your next role-playing game session.

What is a Map Tile?
Our map tiles depict an area of terrain, such as the floor of a cave, an area of grass, or where the floor meets a wall. The map tiles are provided as ready-made art elements that can be pieced together on a digital canvas to form an adventure map that players can explore.
All Studio WyldFurr map tiles have a unique “look’n’feel” as each map tile is a combination of photographic source material combined with hand drawn artwork. Rendered at a scale of three on screen pixels to each real world inch, resulting in 180 pixel squares to each 5ft game grid.

This package of art assets can be purchased in two forms. The first is the Raw Image Files Art Assets Edition, while the second is a version of the package that has been configured especially for certain Virtual Tabletop Applications. This second form of the package can only be purchased via the Marketplace belonging to that Application (see below).
This edition of the Alien Hive Map Tiles pack is designed for use by advanced users who have access to graphics editing programs and apps such as Photoshop, Gimp, Affinity Photo, Krita, or Clip Studio. The package contains a wealth of raw image files in PNG file format. These image files form the building blocks which you can assemble into the form of a dungeon, fortress, or whatever kind of structure you desire.

A special version of the Alien Hive Map Tiles package has been set up for a growing number of Virtual Tabletop Applications. This specialised version can be found in the Marketplaces belonging to those Applications.
This specialist Virtual Tabletop version allows Game Masters the ability to use the Map Tiles within the Virtual Tabletop Application of their choice, leveraging the map-building tools inside that Application.
Grab this art assets pack from the Fantasy Grounds Forge marketplace to unlock access to the pack inside Fantasy Grounds where you can use the in-app map-building tools.
Supporters of Studio WyldFurr on Patreon gain access to this pack of art assets inside FoundryVTT via the Moulinette plugin. This gives you the ability to use the assets with FoundryVTT’s in-app tools.
