Dungeon Map Tiles 3

This is a digital downloadable art pack product. The product contains a number of “map tiles” rendered from montage of photographic material plus hand painted modification. The map tiles are suitable for use with software such as Photoshop, Gimp, or other such graphics editing software. The aim is to provide Players and Game Masters a means of creating their own maps by assembling the tiles and then using the resulting map in digital role-playing software such as Fantasy Grounds, Battlegrounds, Astral, or Roll20.net. All Studio WyldFurr maps have been created for an on screen scale of 3 pixels to each real world inch, resulting in each 5ft character square being 180 pixels square.

Map Tile Artwork

Each dungeon map tile is a combination of hand drawn artwork and photographic source material that gives us the unique style of all Studio WyldFurr Maps. All of the tiles have been rendered from a birds eye view of the landscape, with shadowing used to give the illusion of depth.

Map Tile Scale

Our range of virtual tabletop role-playing tokens all use a standard scale of 1 inch to 3 pixels, for a standard D&D character square of 180 pixels. Thus all of our Map Tiles also use this character square size. But we have also included smaller 50 pixel square map tiles for those of us who use the smaller 50 pixel square size.

Product Description

Dungeon Map Tiles III

The Dungeon Map Tiles III set expands on the success of our first and second Dungeon Map Tiles sets with a new third texture range for building your own cultist strongholds, wizards maze, or whatever structure your imagination can cook up.

This map tiles set includes a new floor texture range for being rooms and hallways with stone patterns built into the floor. The walls have also been extracted from the floor tiles to give a greater flexibility with tiling the floor texture, while being able to create almost limitless wall designs.

This edition of the Dungeon Map Tiles III pack is designed for use by users who have access to graphics editing programs and apps such as Photoshop, Gimp, Krita, or Clip Studio.

The package contains a wealth of raw image files in JPG and PNG file format. These image files form the building blocks which you can assemble into the form of a dungeon, fortress, or whatever kind of structure you desire.

We have a tutorial detailing how you can use the Map Tiles in Photoshop or Gimp. Or you can watch our artist Tailz building maps with the map tiles over at the studio Youtube channel.
